Corrosion Inhibitor (HCl)
SMASH-9 is a corrosion inhibitor and excellently removes excessive corrosion caused by excessive dissolution of metal in pickling process which is to get rid of oxidized scale on the metal surface. SMASH-9 also inhibits formation of smut from metal reduction, and leads to and maintains clean surface.

• Improves the pickling speed (1.3 – 1.5 times faster based on the steel grade)
• Provides fine and even surface
• Rapidly removes scale and rust
• Inhibits formation of smut from metal reduction, and leads to and maintains clean surface
• Improves working condition by inhibiting formation of fume to the max
• Improves adhesion between metals in zinc galvanizing process and other various plating → significantly reduces defect rate
• Prolongs time of use of HCl for 1.5 ~ 1.7 times longer
• Decreases cause of faulty such as disconnection or brittleness which can occur in the drawing process, etc. by getting rid of hydrogen embrittlement.
